The Voice Behind The Wall examines the Afrikaans music industry and the racial im- balances that still pe rsist almost 30 years since the abolishment of Apartheid: above all the cultural appropriation of Afrikaans by the white elite, which goes along with the erasure of Black contributions to Afrikaans culture.
